About the Weidmuller Z-Series Terminal Block Product Line - The Tension Clamp Series
The Weidmuller Z-Series terminal block product line meets the needs of those clients looking for tension clamp technology. A "tension clamp" terminal block uses a spring-like mechanism to maintain the contact between the wire (or conductor) and the current bar. A tin-plated copper bussbar combined with a stainless-steel tension spring clamp provide a vibration-resistant connection with high contact force.
The robust Weidmuller Z-Series Terminal Block product line provides numerous terminal blocks with single or multiple connections. The Weidmuller Z-Series Terminal Block are moulded from temperature resistant Wemid material and snap easily and securely onto industry-standard DIN mounting rail.
Features of the Weidmuller Z-Series Tension Clamp Terminal Block Product Line
With the Z-Series terminal block product line, almost all of the wires are inserted directly into the top of the block. This makes wiring much faster and error-resistant. This product line includes terminations for wire cross sections of 0.13 sq mm through 35 sq mm.
