The Weidmuller Z-Series terminal blocks meet the needs of those clients looking for tension clamp technology. A "tension clamp"? terminal block uses a spring-like mechanism to maintain the contact between the wire (or conductor) and the current bar.
The robust Z-Series product line provides numerous terminal blocks with multiple connections and a variety of jumpering options. The blocks are moulded from the same, temperature resistant Wemid material as the W-Series.
There are numerous profiles in the Z-Series product line, however since the conductors are terminated on the top of the terminal blocks, this does not present a problem during installation.
